About the Book
The use of light to send messages is not new. Fires were used for signaling in biblical times, smoke signals have been used for thousands of years and flashing lights have been used to communicate between warships at sea since the days of Lord Nelson. The idea of using glass fiber to carry an optical communication signal originated with Alexander Graham Bell. However this idea had to wait some 80 years for better glasses and low-cost electronics for it to become useful in practical situations. Development of fibers and devices for optical communications began in the early 1960s and continues strongly today. But the real change came in the 1980s. During this decade optical communication in public communication networks developed from the status of a curiosity into being the dominant technology.

Book Title: Development Of Route Recovery Process Of Link Failure Over Mobile Sensor Network By Using Check Point Route Recovery Algorithm

About the Book
Mobile Sensor Networks (MSNs) is a collection of sensing devices that can wirelessly communicate with each link among all the mobile nodes. In dynamic topology the nodes are free to move and frequently change their positions. Link failure is a major issue of the current wireless mobile sensor network due to node mobility, node energy loss or drain to battery power. This book has been made to compare the performance of three prominent mechanisms support of AODV routing protocol for Mobile sensor network: Divert Failure Route Recovery (DFRR), Proposed AODV (PRO-AODV) and Check Point Route Recovery (CPRR) mechanisms. PRO-AODV and DFRR mechanisms were designed to avoid a link failure route recovery process, based on node sequence number and in advance node signal strength connection in a highly dynamic ad hoc network. CPRR mechanism overcomes the problems of low energy in a node, node monitoring and blocking of node and rectification of a process for an active communication. The CPRR mechanism maintains sensor activities on actor nodes, link failure route recovery process can be done by using the help of static, dynamic sensors and Network Topology Management (NTM) for optimal connection in MSNs. The performance evaluation of these three methods are analyzed at different time intervals. The entire work is compiled by NS-2 simulator. The evaluation and implementation of efficient routing establishment methods are analyzed by using different parameter metrics.

Authors: Dr. A. Rajasekhar Reddy and Dr. V. Raghunatha Reddy
ISBN: 978-81-942515-3-8
Published Year: 2019
About the Book
Owing to the advancements of wireless communications and the cheaper sensor technology, Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) has gained its limelight. WSN can be deployed even in human inaccessible areas. Thus, the WSN must be able to work without human intervention. The performance of the WSN depends on the battery of the sensor nodes, as the sensor node will be shut down when its battery is drained completely.

About the Book
The advent of wireless communication and the development of handheld devices have significantly advanced the development of nomadic communication. The ability of these handheld mobile devices to self-organize themselves on the fly without an infrastructure, expands their communication beyond wireless radio range, has lead to the development of mobile ad-hoc networks (MANET). Security is one of the most vital research areas in focus and plays a central role in determining the success of civilian and commercial mobile ad-hoc networks. Unfortunately, the mobile nodes are struggling to get the trusted intermediary nodes for secure communication to the various destinations, in order to keep long network stability and preventing from active attacks. It is necessity to identify the trusted intermediate nodes for the high communication performance. Although few integrated security systems exist for the MANETs, a high security performance using node trust identification, reliability and behaviour predication for trust-enhanced security architecture is yet to be enhanced for the MANETs. These approaches are required for the prevention and detection of abnormal and malicious nodes to complement each other to deliver a trustworthy, secure, and an operational routing layer are amidst the inherent issues.
Therefore, this book focuses on a systematic study of the trust security challenges and adversaries in the MANETs and accordingly the performance analysis of the strengths and solutions have been proposed within different categories of security systems.

About the Book
This experiment was designed to explore the antioxidant effect of vitamin E on oxidative stressed rat’s model induced by heavy metal. Heavy metals induce their toxic effects and generate reactive oxygen species. The toxic manifestations of these metals caused imbalance between pro-oxidant and antioxidant homeostasis which is termed as oxidative stress. There are 4 groups of rats were taken, group one is control, second is of mercury induced Hg (10ppm/1000ml of drinking water),third group is of mercury + vitamin E (10ppm/1000ml of drinking water + 25mg /kg body weight) treated rats and fourth group is of vitamin E supplement (25mg/kg body weight). We administered doses of mercury (10ppm/body weight) and doses of vitamin E (25mg/kg body weight) simultaneously. To find out the level of oxidative stress assess the certain parameters and biomarkers as ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP), Advanced oxidative protein product(AOPP), urea and creatinine level The FRAP content reduced in blood and AOPP,Urea and creatinine level increased in blood, but after the supplementation with vitamin E, the content increased and AOPP (Advanced oxidative protein product) decreased whereas urea and creatinine both normalize. Vitamin E supplementation normalizes the levels of these parameters by putting their ameliorative effect.
